First of all, we know that the heat conductive double-sided adhesive can be divided into base material and non-base material according to the different materials. Non-base double-sided adhesive is only adhesive film, so to achieve the same bonding performance, the total thickness of the adhesive is smaller, more flexible and better serviceability. The disadvantage is that the adhesive layer will overflow when the ambient temperature is higher. The common double-sided adhesive used in our daily life is a kind of rolled adhesive tape, which is made of paper, cloth and plastic film as the base material, and then uniformly coated with elastomeric pressure sensitive adhesive or resin pressure sensitive adhesive on the above-mentioned base material. It consists of three parts: base material, adhesive, profiling paper (film) or silicone oil paper.

How to use the heat conductive gasket?

Any product can play its greatest role only by using the correct method of use. If it is used improperly, it will produce adverse effects. The same is true for thermal conductive gaskets. We should pay attention to the following points when using them:
A. Keep the contact surface clean with the thermal conductive silicone film, so as to prevent the self-adhesive and thermal conductivity of the thermal conductive silicone film from being affected by stains.
B. When taking thermal conductive silicone film, the large thermal conductive silicone film should be picked up from the central part of the bottom, and the smaller area should not be required, because the large thermal conductive silicone film is easy to be subjected to uneven force, resulting in product deformation, affecting performance and even damage the silicone film.
C. When tearing off the protective film, first tear off one side of the protective film. It can not tear both sides at the same time, which can reduce the direct contact times of thermal conductive silicone film, and maintain the self-adhesive and thermal conductivity of thermal conductive silicone film.
D. After tearing off one side of the protective film, align the thermal conductive silicone film with the radiator and adhere to it. Attention should be taken to avoid the formation of bubbles when bonding. If bubbles are produced during bonding, the bubbles should be pushed out in time.
E. If bubbles occur in the operation, one end of the silicone film can be pulled up to repeat the steps mentioned above, or the bubbles can be gently squeezed out by means of tools, but bear in mind that the strength should not be too large, so as to avoid damage to the heat dissipation surface of the thermal conductive silicone film.
F. Tear off the protective film on the other side and put it into the radiator. When tearing off the protective film on the other side, the strength is not too high. Because the adhesion of the thermal conductive silicone film is different, avoid pulling up the thermal conductive silicone film.
G. After tightening the thermal conductive silicone film, pressure should be applied to the radiator and placed in a dry place for a period of time to ensure that the thermal conductive silicone film is fixed on the contact surface.
